Ketamine Treatment & Retreats

Ketamine Treatment

The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes Ketamine as one of the safest and most effective drugs, and one that is crucial for meeting vital health needs. Ketamine is used as an anesthetic drug for children because its safety is so widely recognized. In mental health treatment, Ketamine is used as a dissociative and psychedelic medicine that helps to get at the root of stubborn mental health conditions. Ketamine promotes increased neuroplasticity, which increases the effectiveness of psychotherapy, and is a safe option for the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, and navigating big life transitions. Ketamine treatment is provided in collaboration with a dedicated medical team at Journey Clinical. If it is determined that Ketamine might be beneficial to your treatment plan, you will meet with a prescriber at Journey Clinical who works closely with Shamanic Psychotherapist, Holly Stuart-Caines, LCSW-R and if there are no contraindications, your prescriber will send your Ketamine and medical monitoring equipment to you directly for use in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions with Holly. The frequency and number of KAP sessions is determined by your symptoms, goals, and progress and will be paired with non-Ketamine processing sessions. Journey Clinical accepts several insurance plans in network and is an affordable out of pocket option if your insurance plan is not one that is accepted. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy: $300/hour (sessions may last 1.5–3 hours)
“The psychedelic experience is so impressive and powerful that it deeply strikes the personality structures, altering a patient’s value system, leading to immediate insights into personal issues, and the reflection of one’s life and the world from a new perspective.” ~Kratochvil, 1970

Ketamine Retreats

These retreats are deeply healing on psychospiritual levels and, in addition to Ketamine Journeys and integrative shamanic group psychotherapy sessions, you will have the opportunity to engage in shamanic journeys, group meditation, breathwork, yoga, healing music and sound, and/or other healing modalities.
